Spearman ISD recognizes Students of the Month, Teachers of the Year and Distinguished Alumni

During the May 7 meeting, the board publicly recognized student and staff achievements across campuses. Students of the Month were named for SJH (Monica Lerma, Zane Schneider) and SHS (Johana Davila, Pedro Robledo). Campus Teachers of the Year were named for the elementary (Teresa Gomez), junior high (Sarah Witten) and high school (Stephania Martinez); Teresa Gomez was additionally named District Teacher of the Year. The board also recognized the district First Year Academy team and presented a Distinguished Alumni Award to Gary Ellsworth.
