Board reviews staffing snapshot after summer wave of departures; district says many hires are pending paperwork

Board members pressed on a recent cluster of resignations and turnover: one member noted about 32 teacher changes from June through August and asked why those separations were not listed in the personnel paperwork presented tonight. Cindy said some teachers resigned after being informed they would not be renewed and that some items had been previously approved; she and Shell also noted active hiring to fill outstanding vacancies ahead of the school year.
