Resident raises maintenance and landlord concerns at Gibson Housing

Mayor Burriss told Jenkins he had written two letters—one to the Tennessee Housing Authority and one to the management of the Gibson Housing Apartment Complex—and said he had not received any feedback from either party. The mayor also "encouraged her again to try to find somewhere else to live as well as wished her luck with finding a place," according to the minutes. Alderman Wade told Jenkins he would work on management at her apartment complex.
The minutes record the complaint and the mayor's actions (letters sent) but do not record any formal follow-up directive, timeline for response from the housing authority or the management company, or a council vote on the matter.
