Andrea, the district presenter, agreed the cohort effect is plausible and said the district will continue to monitor that group and tailor supports. Superintendent Shell noted the district has seen recovery by 5th grade in past cohorts but said the current 4th-grade group will be watched closely and interventions will be prioritized.
