Monroe district says summer meal program served about 1,000 students at Reasenville site

So it's actually considered to be 14,000 meals instead of 10,000," the staff member said. The superintendent and staff confirmed services at multiple city locations and said some meal sites run Monday through Thursday while others provide seven-day distributions at specific locations.
Staff said the program will continue through Thursday, July 7 at certain sites and that the district is using trailers and refrigeration to support service on hot days. The board heard this as part of the broader budget presentation and program updates; no board action was required.
