Van Alstyne ISD trustees approve consent agenda, budget amendment and personnel change

Later in the meeting, the board approved a personnel recommendation to add an additional officer beginning in the 2024–2025 school year. Mark Freeman made the motion to recommend adding the officer; Beau Williams seconded and the motion passed 6-0.
