Superintendent Amanda Traylor told the board that the district received an updated alignment increasing the number of in‑district homes and boosting the tax base by about $100 million. "We received an updated district alignment, giving VISD more 'in‑district' homes. It increased our tax base around $100million," the minutes record.
Traylor also provided a brief facilities update, saying student workers have been active over the summer and that "lots of improvements have been made." The board did not enter closed session and set its next regular meeting for July 21, 2025.
