Commissioners also approved a $3,000 appraisal contract for the Walker parcel (with $1,500 to be paid up front) and authorized a title search with Sweeney & Sweeney not to exceed $3,000. Those items were presented as procedural follow‑ups needed before closing and to meet IRS documentation and tax requirements. One commissioner noted the appraisal team had already visited the parcel and expected a report by early October.
