The committee’s conversation also flagged near‑term implementation risks tied to new federal and state work requirements. Members and witnesses emphasized pilots that pair workforce boards with social services as a way to avoid cutting off benefits for people in transitional programs. Chair Rambula closed by inviting public comment and thanking staff and participants for the testimony.
