Recreation Director Fox and Mr. Aspras said they are waiting for additional information from the county about possible crosswalk improvements near Betty Park and the Dell.
Council discussion focused on routing and setbacks: members asked about connecting to paper streets, ensuring safe distances from playing fields, and riparian setbacks along the creek. No formal vote was recorded; Sustainable Pitman asked only for council approval to apply for the grant, and next steps depend on the county crosswalk guidance and any formal approval at a future public meeting.
