District presents cohort-based test results, literacy and math interventions

The presentation described planned and ongoing interventions: a full rollout of the 'being a reader/being a writer' literacy resources with coaching cohorts, expanded AP preparation and supports, iReady classroom math and diagnostic checks to personalize instruction, and tracker systems teachers can use to monitor supports for students receiving AIS and other services. Administrators also described efforts to reduce chronic absenteeism and out-of-school suspension as a path to improving learning time and outcomes.
