The waiver is required to include those professional development days formally in the district calendar submitted to TEA.
Trustee Brittany Neel moved to approve the TEA expedited waiver for staff development minutes for 2025–26; Trustee Bryan Lowe seconded. The motion carried, 6–0–0. The district will submit the waiver to TEA as part of the calendar implementation process.
