The Tuloso‑Midway ISD Board approved renewal of the district’s food‑service contract at its Oct. 21 meeting following a staff report and presentation of a recent food‑service survey.
Trustee Leo Gonzalez moved to renew the contract; Trustee Ben Benavides seconded and the motion passed 7–0. The administration presented the survey findings and recommended renewal; the board did not discuss contract dollar amounts or contractor identity in open session.
Staff indicated the survey was conducted to inform service improvements; the board’s vote authorizes administration to continue under the renewed agreement and to proceed with any implementation steps required by the contract.
