Troy ISD honors Trojanettes, names individual softball achievements

The board resolution recognized multiple individual awards including several 1st Team All-District selections, Academic All-District honors, TGCA and TSWA All-State recognitions, and named Izzy Garcia and Jae Jae Phillips as District Co-MVPs. The district's roster recognition noted the team reached the 2025 17-3A Regional Final.
Board members voting aye were Amy McKissick, Kirk Bailey, Carrie Trees, Gary McMurtry, Bill Negron and Lindsey Strait. No members voted against the resolution. The motion and roster were entered into the meeting record.
