Council hears park, waste and road updates; considers electronic speed signs

Council Member Combe said engineers have developed a plan for the city-park remodel and that the council should expect a presentation at the next meeting. Council Member Bell said a scheduled Waste Management meeting was postponed to allow more discussion about potential service adjustments. Council Member Roberts said the city would participate in the church-hosted trunk-or-treat and planned to have Jill and Liz back for U-days.
Council Member Patterson (arrived at 6:14 p.m.) said road striping was applied by accident on a portion of roadway and that crews continue winter preparation. He reported paving work on the far side of Highway 89 and said the city is evaluating whether to install electronic speed signs.
Public Works Jack Burton had no items to present at this meeting. No formal motions or budget approvals were recorded for these operational items; they were presented for council information and future follow-up.
