At the June 2 meeting, Donna Frazier asked the board for logistical support for the Randleman Cruise‑In scheduled for Sept. 19, including access to Civic Center bathrooms, provision of port‑a‑johns and police presence; the Mayor and board agreed to provide those supports.
Later in the public‑comment period, resident James Cozart reported brown, discolored water at his Spencer Street address. Public Services Director Michael Glass told the board he would ensure the waterlines were flushed and asked Mr. Cozart to notify the department if problems continued. The minutes record the board and mayor thanking both speakers for their time and assistance.
