District announces Resound Networks grant to qualify 300 rural homes for high-speed Internet

Superintendent said the grant will help isolated rural families gain access to online learning: "Part of our grant... we have 300 homes that could qualify for high speed Internet." Staff said the district has been promoting the program on social media and will share application resources for qualifying families. The board noted the initiative will support education access in remote parts of the district and asked staff to provide outreach materials and instructions for enrollment.
