Presenters said math proficiency is expected to improve following a recent districtwide math-adoption and expanded instructional coaching. On graduation, staff reported a 9.5 percentage-point increase for a recent graduating class and noted the district reached an 80% graduation-rate marker in a recent snapshot; presenters cautioned small cohort sizes can cause notable year-to-year swings.
District leaders recommended continuing targeted interventions, maintaining consistent curriculum, and embedding financial-literacy and other local electives into the schedule to support long-term improvement.
