Board approves contracts, leases and personnel actions including CAPV services and two assistant-principal appointments

Board also approved a classroom lease with Madison-Oneida BOCES for evening adult-education use of a Stroud Middle School classroom for $3,203.50 for the 2026–27 term. In Human Resources the board accepted the retirement of Martin Mondrich, building maintenance mechanic, effective Oct. 24, 2026, and approved probationary appointments for Allison Johnson (assistant principal, Rome Free Academy, $95,000 prorated, effective 08/04/2026) and Megan Longo (assistant principal, Denty Elementary, $95,000 prorated, effective 08/17/2026). Allison Johnson spoke briefly to thank the board.
