Commission clarifies sign permit and building-permit process for Planet Fitness rebrand

“That's totally separate from us,” Jeremy said when Pamela asked whether the planning commission handled building permits, adding that building-permit work goes through a different department and that the planning office will sign off on what it can once building approvals are issued.

The planning commission will document its sign-permit recommendation and forward it to the appropriate administrative reviewers.
