North Riverside releases Summer Fun Guide; Action Camp sold out

Trustee Czajka read the Parks & Recreation Department monthly report and noted distribution of the Summer Fun Guide. The guide lists new programs including a men’s softball league, charcuterie classes, pilates, a family camp out and Art in the Park. Recreation Director Jeanmarie Hajer-O’Connor’s attached memo notes Summer Camp registration is ongoing and the village will offer nine weeks of camp this year; Action Camp (ages 6–7) is already sold out.
The memo also lists the Senior Fair on May 19 with lunch provided by KuratkoNosek Funeral Home and a Cook County Sheriff K9 demonstration scheduled for May 21 at noon intended for seniors but open to all.
