Board approves handbooks, code of conduct, cooperative agreements and resolutions
Summary

At the July 24 meeting, the WESTBROOK ISD board approved multiple routine governance items including the 2025–2026 Student Handbook, Student Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook and Grading Guidelines. Trustees also approved Agri-Life Extension Extra-Curricular Resolutions for Mitchell, Scurry and Howard counties; the West Central Texas Special Education Shared Services Cooperative Inter-Local Agreement; a DAEP inter-local agreement with Colorado ISD; and the 2025–2026 TTESS appraisers and calendar. Most motions were moved by Thomas Connell or Ben Muller and recorded as carried unanimously.
The minutes do not include the substantive text changes to the handbooks nor the financial details of interlocal agreements. These approvals are recorded as standard annual governance items to prepare for the 2025–2026 school year.
