Supervisors approve HARB Certificates for two residential roof and siding projects

The Birmingham Township Board of Supervisors unanimously approved Certificates of Appropriateness recommended by the Historic Architectural Review Board for two private residences.
At its July 6 meeting the Board voted to approve Jay Jemail’s application for 1111 Daniel Davis Lane to replace the main house roof with CertainTeed Landmark Pro Max Def Espresso and to install Atlas Smooth Dutchseam Charcoal Gray metal roofing on the garage and porch. The Board also approved Bradley and Amy Harkins’ plan for 1016 Radley Drive to install CertainTeed Landmark Moire Black roofing with CertainTeed Cedar Boards Single 7" siding in Charcoal Gray and Colonial White vinyl trim. Vice‑Chairman Michael Shiring moved both approvals; Supervisor J. Daniel Hill seconded and both motions passed without objection.
The HARB recommendations followed its June 16 review; the Board recorded the approvals as Certificates of Appropriateness and did not add additional conditions. The actions clear the applicants to proceed subject to any required building permits and code compliance.
