Barbara Cass and council members discussed multiple channels to promote MOLST 2.0 training and standardization. Dr. Shapiro said hosting the training on institutional platforms (for example, HealthStreams) helps administrators monitor completion; "I would certainly favor getting it out to these big systems so that they can try and take it upon themselves to ensure that their staff gets adequately trained," he said.
Members proposed engaging Connecticut Hospital Association (CHA) contacts, surveying council members on educational needs, working with CNOs and program directors at PA/APRN and medical schools, and reaching probate court administrators to advise judges and guardians. Jim suggested contacting the probate court administrator to help spread awareness among probate judges; Barbara Cass reported she had done outreach and is awaiting a response.
