DPH plans portal for external-entity attestations for MOLST training

Barbara Cass told the council the policies and procedures allow outside health systems to develop their own training but require an attestation to DPH that the training meets statutory requirements. "We will put that in the portal," she said when asked whether a template would be available.
DPH staff explained an electronic portal would preserve attestations in perpetuity and enable more efficient tracking than email. The portal is planned to mirror other attestation systems already used by DPH; staff said they will work with IT to develop the portal and expected to follow up after a scheduled meeting upon Barbara Cass's return from vacation.
