DPH advisory council: MOLST 2.0 training is a public record and will be shareable

Barbara Cass, senior adviser to the commissioner at the Department of Public Health for long-term care, told the MOLST advisory council that DPH legal advised the MOLST training video is a public record and will be provided on request. "DPH considers the MOLST training video to be a public record under FOI," she said.
The announcement came as the council weighed a request from a large health system to receive the full CT Train MOLST 2.0 package. Cass said FAQs are finalized and will be posted once internal posting permissions are resolved and that DPH will provide copies of the training to entities that request them unless objections are raised. Council members supported wider distribution for standardization but flagged operational impacts on tracking and quality assurance.
