Village hears proposal to expand Bellemeade softball dugouts for school partnership

Committee members asked whether smaller benches could be repurposed for tee‑ball, and Greg said that is the plan: “He's hoping to be able to lift them and move them,” and that work could begin soon so fields would be ready for the spring season after summer/fall construction. Board members noted the shed at the field has helped with maintenance and discussed locking and equipment security. The board did not take a formal vote on capital funding at this meeting; next steps appear to be coordination between village staff (Brandon and Chris) and the school to firm up materials and schedule.
