At the Nov. 18 meeting Principal Krista Beal nominated Amy Fletcher, Kim Weda and Pam Martin of the high-school campus for the board's Premier Spotlight recognition for outstanding secretarial work. The board also recorded the swearing in of a new officer, Terry Trail.
The administrators' report included enrollment of 2,628 students and noted the district's foreign exchange student policy is limited to five students. A planned concession-stand discussion was tabled to a future meeting because suitable photographs were not available. Board President Randall Morgan led the invocation earlier in the meeting.
