Randleman planning staff proposes shrinking boards and creating Downtown Development Board

Community Services Director Jay Dale submitted a memo described in the meeting record that the Planning Department will propose text amendments to Sections 15.5 and 15.6 of the City of Randleman Zoning Ordinance to change the make-up and duties of the Board of Adjustment and the Planning Board. The memo also proposed creation of a six-member Downtown Development Board aimed at downtown rejuvenation that would draw from local community and business leaders.
