Board hears concerns about decaying grandstand; consultants propose demolition and phased rebuild options

The consultants explained that stadium support and demolition generally generate little or no state building aid, so much of that work would be a local cost. The scope discussed included roughly 1,000‑seat bleachers and a ~3,000 sq. ft. concession building as conceptual budgeting assumptions; the team noted site constraints, wetlands and code requirements would affect feasibility and cost.
