The Menomonie Historic Preservation Commission appointed Joshua Kohnke as chair on June 8, 2026 after Public Works Director Schofield reported that former Chairperson Ryland Erdman was not reappointed. Carl Rudenborg moved to appoint Kohnke and Tim Dotseth seconded; the motion carried unanimously on a voice vote (Melissa Kneeland was absent for the chair appointment vote).
The commission also approved the minutes of the May 11, 2026 meeting on a motion by Tim Dotseth, seconded by Carl Rudenborg. No public comments were received during the meeting. The commission scheduled its next regular meeting for Monday, July 13, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. in City Hall Room 58. The meeting adjourned at 5:43 p.m., and Deputy City Clerk Christopher Johnson signed the minutes.
