District materials noted that the appraisal rolls for Winkler and Loving counties were received in late July and were considered in light of state truth‑in‑taxation principles, including the requirement to notify property owners of increases in appraised value and estimated tax consequences. "I move the Board Approve Appraisal Rolls for 2025-2026 as presented," Trustee Purcell said when making the motion. The board recorded a unanimous vote with six members present; Trustee Brad White was absent. The approval clears the district to proceed with subsequent budget and tax‑rate actions on the agenda.
