Wink‑Loving ISD board approves minutes, tax collections and June financials

The Board of Trustees of Wink‑Loving ISD unanimously approved the consent agenda at its July 22 meeting, accepting the minutes of the previous meeting and approving the district’s financial reports.
Trustee Raymond Dodd moved to dispense with the reading of minutes and accept them as printed; Trustee Carrie Purcell seconded the motion, which carried with a unanimous vote. Tax Assessor/Collector Sarah Wilkinson presented the June tax collection report, which showed total collections of $2,411,645.76; Trustee Dodd moved for approval and Trustee Purcell seconded.
Trustee Chad Evans moved to approve the June financial reports, bills paid and bills payable. The board recorded $171,630.31 in bills for the month of June. The motion was seconded and approved unanimously.
The actions completed routine governance and finances ahead of the 2025–26 school year.
