Blake Rasmussen (Rasmussen Development) said the intention is a thoughtfully designed neighborhood office park with single‑story buildings and small footprints (about 405–1,250 square feet) intended for medical professionals, attorneys and other small firms. Planning staff explained that HDR allows limited small‑scale offices but caps office building size at 3,500 square feet, which staff said helps provide a buffer between commercial and residential uses.
Several commissioners praised the design approach, noting it offered a compromise between commercial services and preserving residential character. The commission approved the recommendation unanimously.
