District asks community to monitor bill tracker, attend January SCC meeting

District staff told attendees they will republish a bill tracking sheet on the communications page to help SCCs and community members follow legislation and funding changes; they encouraged attendees to contact legislators about district priorities. "Reach out to your legislators to let them know," staff said during the presentation.
Staff also announced the next District Community Council meeting will be Tuesday, January 28 at 6:00 p.m. at the Granite Education Center, and noted that agendas, schedules and prior notes are available on the communications page. They invited SCCs with district‑wide concerns to complete a form so the council can consider them at a future District Community Council meeting.
