The Board of Education introduced several new staff members at its Sept. 17 meeting, including Sue Guenard as the MS/HS Reading Interventionist. Principal Patrick Gretzlock and Pupil Services Director Rebecca Hanestad described the additional reading support as beneficial to students.
"Mr. Gretzlock and Mrs. Hanestad both elaborated on how beneficial it is to have the additional, focused support for our students and that Mrs. Guenard is doing a phenomenal job for our district," the minutes state. Other new staff introduced included Ashley Wagner (School Psychologist); Morgan Andrews (MS Special Education Para); Stephanie Crowe (TCE Art Teacher); Brittanee Despres (Occupational Therapist); Kysa Deitz (Speech & Language Pathologist); Madison Kurey (TCE Special Education Teacher); and Ashley Larson (TCE Special Education Teacher).
The board welcomed the staff and moved the Athletic Director's report in the agenda to follow introductions; no personnel actions for these hires were required at this meeting because they were introductions and onboarding announcements.
