Assistant Superintendent Leslie Bell briefed the board that the Preschool Core Instructional Materials adoption process has reached the public-comment stage. The Preschool Core Instructional Materials committee recommended materials that are now posted on the district website; staff will collect feedback and provide the board with a recommendation to adopt the curriculum at the January meeting.
Bell described the adoption process and timeline; the board did not vote on the materials at the Dec. 10 meeting. Parents and stakeholders are invited to review the materials online and submit feedback during the public comment window indicated in the posted materials.
