Council approves adding a Retailer’s Class H license for Eagle Market at Ridgeland Avenue

The City Council approved a motion to adopt an ordinance increasing the number of available Retailer’s Class H licenses by one to accommodate Zaid Z. Zoubi, doing business as Eagle Market, at 12100 South Ridgeland Avenue.
Alderman Heather Begley moved the measure and Alderman Dan Brennan seconded; the motion carried on a voice vote. After the vote, Alderman Jack Clifford asked whether the property would be maintained following prior complaints. Mayor Robert Straz responded that while premises responsibility rests with SNK Fuel, Eagle Market is maintaining the property to prevent further complaints.
