Flambeau board approves 2025–26 school calendar

The Flambeau School District Board approved the 2025–26 academic calendar during its Feb. 19 meeting.
Motion by Doug Verdegan and seconded by Linda Zimmer carried 7-0 to adopt the calendar. Interim District Administrator Sheri Kopka noted staff were offered choices during planning and that she has discussed calendar alignment with the Ladysmith district.
Board members indicated the calendar selected was the final choice for staff scheduling and district planning. No calendar alternatives, start/stop dates, or detailed student contact days were recorded in the minutes beyond the approval.
