The Flambeau School District Finance Committee convened on Feb. 19, 2025; Ted Alberson called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. The committee approved the agenda after Interim District Administrator Sheri Kopka requested the "Budgeting Update" be moved to follow discussion of the Buildings and Grounds position.
The committee approved the Finance Committee unofficial open-session minutes from Sept. 25, 2024. Committee members discussed several operational items during the meeting: staff will provide additional notes on the budget, the group agreed to a weekly bill-mailing schedule, and Sheri Kopka reviewed a memo from Stef Harris about the condition of school vehicles and recommended beginning a replacement process. The committee also discussed the Buildings and Grounds director position and the current budget; the minutes record discussion but no formal staffing action.
