Committee approves minutes, directs staff to pursue funding and report back

At the March 23, 2026 meeting of the Village of North Riverside Public Utilities Committee, Trustee Sarro moved and Trustee Bianco seconded to approve the minutes of the April 14, 2025 committee meeting; the motion passed unanimously. Later, Trustee Tricoci moved and Trustee Bianco seconded to adjourn at 8:50 p.m.; that motion also passed unanimously.
Committee members directed staff to continue pursuing grants and to provide updates on the Village's IEPA loan applications. Staff said they will gather additional information on alternative funding mechanisms to inform the upcoming budget discussions related to the lead service line replacement program.
