Board reviews budgets and designates unused 2025-26 funds to restricted fund balance

Jeff Mahoney, Director of Business Services, presented reports on the district’s 2025-26 budget and on the proposed 2026-27 budget. His reports were received by the Board as informational items during the July 13 meeting.
Following the budget reports, the Board accepted an administrative recommendation to designate certain unused 2025-26 funds to a restricted fund balance for the 2026-27 year as included in the meeting attachment. The motion to accept that recommendation carried 5-0.
