The Flambeau School District Board of Education on Jan. 15 approved the 2025–26 Special Education Open Enrollment Report. Betsy Miller, the district's 4K–5 principal and special-education director, told the board the program currently serves 86 students and employs eight teachers; Miller said five of those teachers are new hires for the reported period.
Board members carried the motion to approve the report 7–0. The presentation also included staffing context and program updates from Miller; board members did not amend the report and directed no additional action in open session.
