Board President Cyndi Darland and trustees recognized a roster of students who qualified for state and national competitions in speech, debate and SkillsUSA. Listed students included Tyler Phillips, Pedro Arroyo, Emma Parker, Malaikah Ali and others who achieved UIL and National Speech and Debate Association qualifications.
The roster also named SkillsUSA winners in welding, masonry and engineering technology and noted National Speech and Debate Association alternates. The board acknowledged these accomplishments during opening remarks and recognition of national and state qualifiers.
