The Granton Area School District board met June 2, 2025, and on a motion by Douglas Eichten, seconded by Jamie Elmhorst, convened in executive session under Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c) at 7:42 p.m. The roll-call vote to enter executive session was unanimous (Erica Bender: Yea; Douglas Eichten: Yea; Jamie Elmhorst: Yea; Mark Elmhorst: Yea; Sheryl Young: Yea).
The board returned to open session at 8:21 p.m. on a motion by Erica Bender, seconded by Mark Elmhorst; roll call again was unanimous. Clerk Douglas Eichten reported that “no action was taken in Executive Session.” Following the return to open session the board approved three staff resignations and adjourned at 8:23 p.m.
