Granton board hears facilities update; property insurance and food service tabled
Summary
Administrators told the board that the boiler vendor Lochinvar will honor warranty work while the district continues to coordinate installation; the board approved student accident insurance but tabled property insurance and food service until June.
District Administrator Nancy Popp told the board that Lochinvar is standing behind the boiler warranty and that she is working on transportation and installation logistics for the replacement unit.
The board approved the 2025–26 Student Assurance Services student accident insurance renewal. The district has not yet received the property insurance renewal from the carrier, and that item was tabled until the June meeting.
Separately, the board reported it did not receive the 66.0301 shared IT agreement from Loyal and therefore took no action on that item. The board also approved renewal of the WIAA high school membership for 2025–26.
Board members asked that updates on the property insurance renewal and the food service item be brought back to the June meeting.
