Redevelopment commission approves expanded lease for Prometheus Energetics at the Forge

Fernandez said the move was intended to simplify administration and that the commencement date would be set based on execution and tenant improvements, resetting the three‑year lease period.
Staff noted Prometheus plans to expand hiring (the company planned to hire 13 people immediately and expected to add about 20 more over six months) and that the average wages reported were favorable to local economic goals. Commissioners approved the lease amendment unanimously.
