Quinlan ISD board adopts $2025–26 budget, approves related amendments

The Quinlan Independent School District Board of Trustees adopted the districts budget for the 2025–26 school year at its June 26 meeting, approving the proposal by unanimous vote. Trustee Todd Darter moved to adopt the budget as presented; Trustee Billie Miller seconded and the motion carried 6-0.
Board finance presenter Becky Pfeil told trustees that May revenues were $1,958,424.59 and expenditures were $4,257,345.46, leaving a cash flow ending balance of $44,847,442.78. Pfeil also presented Budget Amendments #06-26-01 and #06-26-02, which the board approved 6-0 after a motion from Darter and a second from Miller.
