Fire Chief Chris Pardi explained that establishing a governing board is the final step in creating and participating in the Communications Consortium. Assistant Chief Kevin Smith requested appointment, noting his involvement with the consortium since its establishment and that he will soon assume the position of Fire Chief.
Arden Lauxman moved to appoint Kevin Smith as the District's representative to the Consortium governing board; Sher Voelker seconded. Roll call vote: Sher Voelker, Aye; Arden Lauxman, Aye; Michala Cross, Aye; Michael Bell, Aye. Motion carried and Kevin Smith was appointed.
