Summary

At the public forum, Dylan Ross of 1510 Laurel requested a variance to the curb-cut ordinance so he can install a 41-foot curb cut for a three-stall garage, exceeding the posted 38-foot limit. Ross said he purchased half of the adjoining lot, which provides additional frontage, and that he would prefer not to angle the driveway to meet the current limit.
Daniel Bangasser cited Chapter 141 (Driveway) of the city code during the discussion. Mayor Protem Kuester recommended the council place the variance request on the next agenda for formal consideration; no decision was made at the meeting.
